In the later ‘Catalogo della Musica di Chiesa ...’ (c1784) score and parts are listed for the antiphon ‘Salve Regina No 1’ by Villicus (III/V/6/13). The scoring is given as: ‘à Soprano Solo co’ VVni. Viola, Ob. Concert: ed Org.’
Villicus was a violinist in the 'Pohlnische Capell-Musici'. (Is it possible that he was a composition student of Zelenka?). His name is appears with this ensemble in the lists for 1730 and 1731 of Catholics eligible to be buried in the Catholic cemetery of Dresden. See Ágústsson and Stockigt in ‘Records of Catholic Musicians, Actors, and Dancers at the Court of Augustus II, 1723–1732’.
