Concordance:
This Credo setting was also kept with a Kyrie et Gloria setting in the collection of the Metropolitan Cathedral, Prague. CZ-Pak, 858. See Štefan, Ecclesia Metropolitana Pragensis Catalogus Collectionis ([903] Sign. 858).
Kapsa and Madl (‘Weiss, the Hartigs and the Prague music Academy, 70) give the shelf mark as 853 and advise that this Credo has the same Italian provenance as Lotti’s Gloria setting, and probably came to St Vitus as a gift from Count Johann Hubert Hartig, Zelenka’s earliest known patron. See II/L/3/3.
